What does Momints Do?

Momints allows you to snap photos with your iPhone and have it save the Audio context in which those photos were take. When you snap a photo, Momints uses our patent pending Back to the Past Buffer technology to capture the previous 30 seconds of audio, it then starts recording audio untill reaching the preassigned limit (by default this is set to 10 seconds in the Settings Tab).

How does Momints Work?

Our patent pending Back-to-the-past-buffer continously records the past 30 seconds. When you decide to take a photo, this buffer is saved and attached to the photo taken. If you do not take a picture, the buffer is erased.

Does Momints protect my privacy?

Very much so! If you do not elect to snap a photo, the audio buffer is automatically deleted.

How do I transfer my Momints recordings to my computer?

Use our built in sync module:

1. Go to the Momints screen and click on Sync at the top right. This will open the Sync service screen.
2. Click on Start Sync Service (OFF). This will start the service and show you a special address.
3. Open your browser on your PC or laptop and enter the address shown. This will bring up a Sync page in which you can see your recordings.
4. Use the download button to save the files. NOTE: if this opens your file or shows you a lot of text, click on the BACK button in your browser and do the following:
   1. Right click on the download button
   2. Select "Save Link As..."
   3. Select the location to save the file in the dialog window that opens.
   4. Click on Save
   5. Your momints recording will be saved to the location selected.

Note: Your PC/Laptop and your iPhone must be on the same WIFI network in order for the service to work.

How do I view my Momints recordings on my computer?

In order to view your Momints files you will need to have either iTunes or the standalone Apple Quicktime Player installed. If one of these is installed, simply double click on the file to play it.
